Festivals in Lam Dong Objects of worship: Giang. Characteristics: Praying for timely rains and favourable weather and preventing wild beast from destroying fields.

Objects of worship: Agriculture Genie. Characteristics: The sorcerer and local people go to tower to worship the Agriculture Genie praying for rain and pray gods for good crops. White buffalo is used as the offering to sacrifice to the god.

Objects of worship: Thanh Hoang Bon Canh (God of Land). Characteristics: Thuong dien ceremony (worship God of Land after harvesting rice), praying for peace, sacrifice ceremony, procession of god on dragon and phoenix-decorated palanquin, welcoming royal ordinance on three splendidly-decorated boats, boi singing in three nights.

Characteristics: Traditional sacrifice-offering ceremony, the praying-for-rain ceremony is also presented by ghe races on the rivers and canals. Ghe is made by long and tapering bamboo, contains 20 rowers.
